The fishing artist
The painted, lichen green, pearl-panelled walls in the bathroom and bedroom, as was customary in old wooden houses, give the room a warm and pleasant feel. Yellow Høganäs tiles in the shower area and on the bathroom floor. The room has a view of the farmyard, framed by French linen curtains.
No anglers in the Aurlandselva river are more passionate about the river than the Buxton family from Norfolk. We have furnished the room in memory of Theresa Buxton, John Buxton’s maiden aunt, who looked after her nephew and nieces with watercolours and a sketch block at the ready. When she was not fishing, that is.
